With current developments, it's now become possible for one to become submersed into an entirely different environment at the simple switch of a button. This is inspiring to me because it is continuing to stretch the boundaries of human capabilities. The possibilities of this new and upcoming technology has a vast range of possibilities. This sort of technology can eventually be implemented into a variety of fields - especially fields that are related to design and planning. Eventually, this headset could lead to virtual walkthroughs of buildings which would allow the designer a completely different perspective of the building they designed in a computer-aided drafting program.
