The Slice Chair Concept

Designed by Mathias Bengtsson, The Slice Chair concept takes on a fluid-like form as Bengtsson layers slices of aluminum varying in shape to give an irregular composition. The materiality of the chair gives great dimension to the chair as light hits the chair from different angles. This piece of furniture is incredibly appealing to me because it goes far beyond functionality all by the simple repetition of thin slices of aluminum.
